Community History: Pope Quarters, or Pope’s Quarters, has been described as a “new addition” to Holland Quarters to the north. CR 110 is known as Pope Quarters Road.

An article on Black churches in Holland Quarters notes that in 1983 Sunny Grove Church of God in Christ moved to the new addition of Pope’s Quarters and that the church was rebuilt in 1994. That building now houses First Assembly of God in Christ.
