Community History: Shiloh had two Baptist churches – Shiloh and Tabernacle. The two congregations then joined together at Shiloh Baptist Church on County Route 268. A new sanctuary was constructed and dedicated in 2014; the earlier Shiloh building was removed from the site. The community cemetery, called Shiloh Tabernacle or Tabernacle-Shiloh, is across from the Tabernacle Baptist Church building on County Route 266. The community had a one-teacher Rosenwald school, built in 1928-29.
